KEEPING ACTIVE AND STAYING YOUNG
On the drive back from our annual trip to Lake Wildwood, Reny and I had a discussion about growing old. We both agreed that as long as we stay physically active, have a purpose that fulfills us and enjoy life, we should be good to go. The minute we slow down... or stop (heaven forbid!), I imagine we'll go down pretty quickly! The photo above isn't my most flattering shot. But it was my first time on a paddle board and I was trying to keep my balance while attempting to paddle at the same time. Great exercise for arms and core. The next day, our speedboat broke down and I had to jump in the water and push the boat from the back while another person swam in front, pulling the tow line and a third paddled from the boat. Thank goodness, the boat didn't break down too far from our dock. Today, I feel like I did 1000 pushups! Got my exercise for the week.
